Hetalia: Happy Halloween!

Welcome to Hotel Transylvania Hetalia! Where monsters from around the world come to rest and relax safely secluded from the threats of the human world! That is until a certain human named Alfred shows up to turn the hotel and it occupants upside down...

England: Count Dracula, of course! All of the qualities that make the Prince of Darkness the indisputable leader of monsters—his strength dominance charisma and perhaps over-controlling nature-—also happen to make him an excellent hotel manager. Problem is, where his daughter (female Canada) is concerned, he’s a softy. Fearful for his daughter’s safety, he’s kept her in the sanctuary of his hotel her entire life, away from the torch-wielding humans he remembers so well. Female Canada: England's teenage, vampire daughter. Canada’s grown bored with the domain of her childhood—she has lived within her father’s hotel and its grounds all her life—and she longs to travel, experience life and see the world. America: a typical 19-year-old human, backpacking his way across Europe in his continuing worldwide travels. He’s confident, full of life, talkative, curious and good-natured. Now, in his wandering, he’s stumbled onto a hotel full of…monsters!? To help him blend in (and keep the monsters unaware of the security breach), England disguises him as a monster. France: A amnesiac phantom England discovered while exploring the Paris catacombs, France uses his ghostly powers to affectionately torment Arthur and cause other mischief around the hotel.

China: Appears to be a normal human at first but when angered-which is very often- he transforms into his true dragon form of Futs-Lung! China used to love humans but over the years the humans grew to fear his dragon form and eventually drove him away. Now China resides at Hotel Transylvania, still bitter about his people's betrayal.

Russia: A Russian prince whose heart was turned to ice by the evil witch, Baba Yaga, everything Russia touches freezes instantly! His favorite activity at the hotel is annoying China which can be dangerous for a snow king like Russia! Ivan's had his his hand melted off more than once by China's fiery breath...

Germany: the self-desiginated watchdog, or more accurately, watch werewolf of the hotel, Germany is constantly hot on Alfred's trail attempting to prove to everyone else that he is actually a human.

Japan: A nogitsune, Japan spends his time vacationing peacefully at the hotel-- or trying to at least! With the appearance of the new monster, Alfred, Japan finds himself either being caught up in one of Germany's schemes to prove Alfred's a human or one of America's plans to help "liven" up the hotel!

Italy: Death himself, Italy is taking a much needed break at Hotel Transylvania with his best friends Japan and Germany! However, ever since the new monster, Alfred, arrived Germany has been on edge, lurking around the hotel and dragging Italy along on "human hunts." Oh well, as long as they're all together, Italy doesn't mind one bit!


Phew. That was long. Basically, I fell in love with the concept of Hotel Transylvania. The actual movie was okay but the concept hooked me. Thus, I replaced all the HT characters with Hetalia characters. I def plan on making lottsa more doodles for this. There's a lot of possibilities to go with this concept and I plan on tossing in some darker undertones to make the plot more appealing to an older audience.... England is Dracula because their characters are so similar, same with America and Canada. Everyone else is taken from national monsters. Except for Italy. I made Italy Death because I thought it was intriguingly ironic. We'll see what happens with that.
