Sometimes it's hard to be a gentleman......

British sentiment towards the newly independent US was initially and quite understandably negative to say the least. If you ever get a chance to read some of King George III's letters concerning America at the time you will find that his opinion of Americans was.... scathing. And justifiably so! Revolution against the motherland was unheard of, high treason, etc. etc. etc....... But Alfred did it anyways. With France's help. Because they do what they want.
I tried to show how betrayed England felt and how pissed off he was at America. He has phased out of his initial depression concerning America's revolution and into the anger stage... People had better watch out, he's a nation on the edge!
I had France call Alfred the United States of America just because I thought they'd still be formal with each other at this point.
Yes, this is a flashback incase there was any confusion... You never know.
And finally, sorry this took so long. Gracious. I need to get with it.
